Role – Sales Manager – Travel Companies Europe
Purpose of the role
We will not be successful unless we continuously add new logos to our customer base that can grow to the big customers of tomorrow. RateGain is looking for a Sales Manager – Travel Companies Europe, who will own proactive, new logo acquisition from travel companies in Europe. This role is an individually contributing role that owns a sales target. Furthermore, targets will be set for expanding the brand recognition of RateGain offerings for Travel Companies.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a detailed business plan to grow revenue opportunities from new prospects within your market.
Identify and prospect for opportunities at multiple level and manage to scale Revenue from every Travel Company in Europe
Manage a sales pipeline and monthly sales forecast as well as activity tracking.
Understand the value of RateGain products as well as competitive offerings and articulate RateGain benefits in a manner meaningful to the customer.
Develop a plan and sell effectively to the customer needs of different verticals within travel companies
Work with Customer Success and product teams to pitch, launch and execute projects and renew business.
Work with Product and Marketing teams to provide feedbacks to help support the launch of products and promotions for lead creation
Meet and exceed aggressive sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Competencies
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hospitality Tech sales to Travel Companies
In-depth understanding of hotel distribution technology (including connection with OTAs, GDS, content etc.)
In-depth understanding of Rate Intelligence Products (for multiple verticals such as hotels, airlines, car rentals, package providers, etc.)
Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
Ideally combined background of post-sale and sales experience with a strong commercial acumen
Ability to read commercial contracts and understand legal clauses
Strong empathy/obsession for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
Analytical and process-oriented mindset
Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English and desirable other European languages
Salesforce.com CRM experience is highly appreciated
