What we are looking to hire

The Senior Vice President of DevOps and Cloud, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation, and management of all DevOps and Cloud initiatives within the organization. This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and organizational transformation. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive innovation, efficiency, and scalability across all aspects of our technology infrastructure

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive DevOps and Cloud strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Lead the transformation of traditional development and operations processes into a streamlined, automated, and collaborative DevOps culture.
• Drive the adoption of cloud technologies to optimize infrastructure, enhance scalability, and improve cost efficiency.

Team Management:

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of DevOps engineers, architects, and cloud specialists.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability within the team.
• Establish clear goals and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness and success of DevOps and Cloud initiatives.

DevOps Implementation:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment automation tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and accelerate time-to-market for new products and features.
• Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and incident response mechanisms are in place to maintain high availability and reliability of production systems.

Cloud Management:

• Lead the adoption of cloud-native architectures and services to optimize performance, scalability, and security in the cloud environment.
• Define and enforce cloud governance policies, including resource provisioning, access controls, and cost management strategies.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption to enhance the organization's competitive advantage.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including software development, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders, to drive alignment and collaboration on DevOps and Cloud initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership to provide updates on key metrics, milestones, and challenges related to DevOps and Cloud operations.
• Act as a change agent, advocating for DevOps best practices and cloud adoption across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles with a focus on DevOps, Cloud, and infrastructure management.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale DevOps and Cloud transformation initiatives in complex organizational environments.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible).
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure provisioning, networking, security, and cost optimization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
